Live Music
Enjoy three days of live music in downtown Cary during Cary Main Street Fest. From high-energy bands to local talent, the weekend lineup brings a mix of classic rock, country, pop favorites, and crowd-pleasing hits for every music fan.

Food Trucks, Downtown Dining, & Beverage Tents
Bring your appetite to Main Street. Enjoy a variety of food trucks serving festival favorites, sweet treats, and bold flavors throughout the weekend, along with downtown Cary restaurants open for even more local dining options. The beverage tents will offer a selection of beer, wine, and seltzers.to enjoy while taking in the music and festival atmosphere.

Family Area
Families can enjoy a dedicated space designed especially for kids and parents to experience the festivities together. Open on Saturday, the Family Area will feature interactive activities, crafts, games, hands-on experiences, community partner booths, and engaging performances on the Family Stage for younger attendees.

The 5K at Cary Main Street Fest
Start your Sunday with the Cary Main Street Fest 5K, a family-friendly run/walk through downtown Cary. This event is hosted by and benefits the Cary-Grove High School Trojans Track & Cross Country Association. Open to all ages and fitness levels, the 5K is a great opportunity to support local student-athletes while enjoying an active start to your day. Pre-registration is encouraged.

Cary Farmers’ Market
The Cary Farmers’ Market, a Sunday morning tradition in downtown Cary, will be part of the weekend celebration with fresh produce, handmade goods, local specialties, and more from regional growers and artisans.

Community Breakfast
On Sunday morning, let’s join together for a Community Breakfast, hosted by and benefitting the Cary Firefighters Association. Enjoy a hot breakfast served with hometown hospitality, all in support of those who serve and protect the community. Pre-purchased tickets are encouraged. Buy tickets here.

Baggo Tournament
Grab a partner and join the competition at the Cary Main Street Fest Baggo Tournament on Saturday afternoon. Open to players of all skill levels, this friendly tournament offers a fun way to get involved in the fest atmosphere. Advance registration is recommended. Register Here.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Parking is available in both Metra lots located in downtown Cary, just a short walk from the festival grounds.
No outside food, alcohol, or coolers. A variety of food and beverage options will be available in the downtown area.
You are welcome to bring your own chairs. However, please note that space to set them up is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. There is limited seating available in the South Lot, BMO Lot and in front of Tracks.
Leashed dogs are welcome in the festival area. Please be respectful and clean up after your pet.
For navigation, please use 100 W. Main St., Cary as your destination.
Cary Main Street Fest is a rain or shine event.
There is no admission fee to attend Cary Main Street Fest. The event is open to the public and free to enjoy. However, select activities within the Fest—such as the Baggo Tournament, 5K, and Community Breakfast—do have a participation fee and advanced registration is recommended.
Cary Main Street Fest – Solicitor Policy
Cary Main Street Fest is committed to creating a welcoming, enjoyable, and professional environment for all attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, and community partners. To ensure the integrity of the event and protect the value of sponsorships and exhibitor participation, Cary Main Street Fest is a No Solicitation Event.
Policy Statement
Individuals, organizations, or businesses that have not contracted as official sponsors or exhibitors of Cary Main Street Fest are strictly prohibited from soliciting services, distributing promotional materials, or engaging in marketing activities on the festival grounds. This includes, but is not limited to:
Handing out flyers, business cards, or other printed materials
Displaying signage, banners, or branded items
Approaching attendees to promote services, products, or causes
Leaving materials on vehicles, tables, or public areas within the festival footprint
Purpose
This policy exists to:
Respect Sponsors and Exhibitors – Sponsors and exhibitors have made a financial investment to participate in Cary Main Street Fest. Allowing unauthorized solicitation undermines the value of their participation.
Respect Attendees – Attendees come to enjoy the event in designated areas where sponsors and exhibitors are clearly identified. They should not be subjected to unsolicited marketing while exploring other aspects of the festival.
Enforcement
Festival staff, volunteers, and security personnel will monitor for unauthorized solicitation throughout the event. Any individual or group found violating this policy will be:
Directed to immediately cease all solicitation activities.
Asked to leave the event grounds if noncompliance continues.
